Nathan Wyburn

Nathan Wyburn, age 25, is a Welsh Fine Art graduate who specialises mostly in creating iconic celebrity portraits and ‘Pop culture’ imagery with non-traditional mediums such as Food (Marmite on Toast, Sauces, Sugar, Chocolate, Beans, Pizza, Sweets etc.), along with other everyday items (Newspaper cut outs, Soil, Candles, Toothpaste, Fake tan, Motor Oil etc.).

Due to the uniqueness of Nathan’s artistic flare and the popularity of his work, he has been featured on several TV shows including Britain’s Got Talent 2011 – reaching the semi-finals, Daybreak, Blue Peter, Sky Portrait Artist of The Year & the Jimmy Fallon show. Nathan has also been covered greatly in national and global press including Good Morning America, New York Magazine, PerezHilton.com, Buzzfeed and front cover of The Guardian. Big name brands such as Marmite, BIC, Oral B, Costa, Jacobs, Dominoes, Birdseye and Hovis have all independently commissioned Nathan for PR work. Nathan has exhibited work all over the UK and had interviews as far as Japan, USA, and Australia. Along with travelling to Madrid, Istanbul, Helsinki and Vienna for commissioned work and TV guest appearances. Fitting in with Nathan’s busy working life he also spends a lot of time taking part in charity events to help raise money and is an Ambassador for BulliesOut & Pride Cymru. Nathan on YouTube collectively has over 10 million hits and  20,000 subscribers who are able watch his pre-recorded artistic processes in time lapse. Recipients of Nathan’s work include Prince Charles, Tim Peake, Mel C & Katherine Jenkins.

Mae Nathan Wyburn, 25 oed, yn raddedig Celfyddyd Gain o Gymru sy’n arbenigo mewn creu portreadau eiconig o enwogion a delweddau ‘Diwylliant pop’ gan ddefnyddio cyfryngau annhraddodiadol megis Bwyd (Marmite ar Dost, Sawsiau, Siwgr, Siocled, Ffa, Pizza, Melysion ac ati), ynghyd ag eitemau pob dydd eraill (Papur Newydd wedi’i dorri, Pridd, Canhwyllau, Past Dannedd, Lliw haul ffug, Olew Cerbydau ac ati).

O ganlyniad i natur unigryw dawn artistig Nathan a phoblogrwydd ei waith, mae wedi ymddangos ar sawl rhaglen deledu gan gynnwys Britain’s Got Talent 2011 – gan gyrraedd y rownd gynderfynol, Daybreak, Blue Peter, Sky Portrait Artist of The Year a sioe Jimmy Fallon.  Yn ogystal, mae Nathan wedi cael cryn sylw yn y wasg genedlaethol a byd-eang gan gynnwys Good Morning America, New York Magazine, PerezHilton.com, Buzzfeed a chlawr blaen The Guardian.  Mae brandiau mawr megis Marmite, BIC, Oral B, Costa, Jacobs, Dominoes, Birdseye a Hovis oll wedi comisiynu Nathan yn annibynnol i wneud gwaith CC.  Mae Nathan wedi arddangos gwaith ar hyd a lled y DU ac mae wedi cael ei gyfweld mewn gwledydd mor bell i ffwrdd â Japan, UDA ac Awstralia.  Mae hefyd wedi teithio i Madrid, Istanbul, Helsinki a Vienna i wneud gwaith a gomisiynwyd ac i ymddangos fel gwestai ar sioeau teledu.  Law yn llaw â bywyd gwaith prysur Nathan, mae’n treulio llawer o amser yn cymryd rhan mewn digwyddiadau elusennol hefyd er mwyn helpu i godi arian, ac mae’n Llysgennad ar gyfer BulliesOut a Pride Cymru.  At ei gilydd, mae Nathan wedi cael dros 10 miliwn o drawiadau ar YouTube ac mae ganddo 20,000 o danysgrifwyr, sy’n gallu gwylio ffilmiau treigl amser wedi’u recordio ymlaen llaw o’i brosesau artistig.  Mae’r sawl sydd wedi cael gwaith Nathan yn cynnwys Tywysog Charles, Tim Peake, Mel C a Katherine Jenkins.
